Deadlock Graphical Library

The Deadlock Graphical Library was first created as an art repository that allowed for the Deadlock community to create their own steam library artwork back when available assets for doing so were nearly non-existent (May, June, July, Etc). Since then, the project has slowly moved away as a library for creating banners and game covers into a publicly accessible repository of graphics and resources typically not available within the game's core files (as they're generated through the in-game UI renderer, or other means).

While I can’t legally claim the created work as my own, I have spent quite a bit of time in carefully recreating the various assets and graphics available here that can not be found within the core files (layered minimap, hand-drawn logos, graphics generated through the game's UI renderer).

STEAM BANNERS
For the old Steam Library covers and banners, go to the above link (SteamGridDB collection) for the downloads as I’ve moved them off of the Graphical Library to save on space.

LOGOS
I have taken the time to carefully recreate Deadlock’s logo and logotype as the only publicly available files (given by Valve) are a low resolution 600x300 PNG acquired from within the core files. As you can imagine, this resolution is a bit restricting, especially to recreate with pin-point accuracy, so I’ve done my best to recreate and provide many different variations of the Deadlock logo in a high resolution PNG format alongside my source SVG file for rescaling purposes.

Included amongst the standard logo variations is a second variant which uses my own custom layer effects to give the logo a bit more depth. I’ve noticed a lot of folks have adopted the version with my layer effects
so I’ve chosen to include the Photoshop layer effects file for custom use (found in the Photoshop folder).

FONTS
Within the fonts folder you’ll find numerous fonts used within the game’s menus and interface. I’ve chosen to separate these into their own folders as each font type comes with an assortment of variants and styles. I managed to hunt down and include various fonts that aren’t available within the core files, but were used in creating various textures and artworks (posters) seen throughout Deadlock. These are included within the fonts folder as well.

ITEM CARDS
I've carefully recreated the in-game item cards in a higher-resolution formation format for community use. Each card follows a strict styling format to match their in-game counterparts down to their colors, transparency, layers, blend modes, etc. To help maintain accuracy and consistency, I've developed a rather complex system of layer comps, artboards, and smart objects that allows me to create and modify item cards with ease while ensuring any changes I make will reflect their in-game appearances without costing me time (and my own sanity).

TLDR I've basically future proofed my templates which allows me to make on the fly changes and additions super fast and without concern for quality or attention to detail.

These cards aren’t actual assets available through the core files, instead, they’re generated through the game’s UI framework, Panorama, which works kinda like if you were designing a website through CSS.

MINIMAP PSD
Every asset is separated by layers and smart objects.
I've recreated every map icon/element as an embedded SVG so there is no need to download any images that may be linked (it's a PSD file so photoshop is required).

This template is set up for easy configuration, meaning everything from the neutral camps to the ziplines, underground, etc, can be moved or disabled. Disclaimer, there may be extremely minor inaccuracies as the in-game map itself isn't terribly detailed nor accurate as is.

This is a perfect resource that should exist, and I'm very glad it does. It's also organized and thorough enough to warrant a 5/5 from me. Great work, anyone looking to make any type of content around deadlock can find great value here.
Thanks for storing the art and assets of the game. Some of them (like the wallpapers with the streets) I did not know about!
