i had this issue too, i BARLEY move. I made it to alchemist 4 but cant move past that. Im surprised i made it even that far.

thats kinda how my rank was stuck, i was on there for so long. I played super well but never got rewarded, someone else in a low ranked game like that also mentioned how that had that issue.
