I just noticed this post after already making a post about it, I also managed to capture a recording of it.
It's as @sickboy mentioned, it happens if you're facing backwards, or at least in a direction that will make you jump out when it automatically hops you off.

It took me forever to catch this on a recording. I finally figured out what triggers it.
If you zipline back to base and you are facing away from spawn you will automatically jump back out and land in the pit.
I also have this issue. I usually Alt+Tab and then when I tab back in my game freezes for a second and then I can use my mouse again.
I tried to see what happens if I don't tab out, and it doesn't seem to fix itself if I don't.
I managed to catch it on video, but on a different character. On Abrams this time. And it's more subtle, but part of his clothing doesn't move when he crouches.
I don't have any video of it, unfortunately, but while waiting in lobby someone's Wraith kept crouching but their cape and hat were staying in place.
Sorry for the crappy bug report, I'll try to get some recording software running next time I play.
