every time i load into the game, it runs fine for about 2 minutes and then gives me an error "content file [...]\steam\steamapps\common\deadlock\game\citadel\pak01.vpk is corrupt. Verify integrity of game files." closing this error notification closes the game, and the next time i try to start...

this was an issue on windows, that has seemingly carried over now that i've transferred to linux. every time i load into the game, it takes ages for it to process the vulkan shaders, and then crashes as soon as i load into the game. all it said on windows was to verify integrity of game files...
