Holding an enemy over bounce pad causes the bounce pad to trigger A LOT very quickly, this can be used deliberately to cause frame stutter and also probably doesnt fit the nature of the game
Very simple suggestion, to make Holliday's bounce pad damage more consistent, it should drag down opponents when your damage[skill2] is active. much like Lash slam and ivy stone form, it would be nice for this goomba stomp of a skill to kinda flow in as such
