Title. I understand that the scope's radius needs to look smooth, but this is excessive. It cranks up my GPU usage from ~70% to 100%!
Worth noting that the FPS drop only happens for me on Linux, not Windows.
Update: It seems like reconnecting in this way lightens the load on the GPU specifically, as some experimentation has shown me. My graphics card is an RX6400 (i know), so it's very clearly the bottleneck for when my game is stuttering, but when I rejoin the usage goes down to about 70-95%.
I've noticed that sometimes, when I have to restart the game for whatever reason and I reconnect into a match without loading into the lobby map first, I get upwards of 40fps of stable improvement until the next game. I theorize that it has something to do with the lobby map, but I don't have...
