I'd rather they just make a choice and have it bounce of walls or have it not bounce of walls and balance it around that. Rather than this half assed way where you have to learn every object in the map where this spell bugs out on.
If it is intentional this needs to be reduced by a lot, either the range needs to go or the number of bounces need to be limited to 1 or 2. As it is a stomp can bounce off a wall go down a set of stairs bounce up to a ledge and still hit a person like it did in this image and video.
