It does the stun even if there is no damage done to apollo on arrival. doesn't do the swhishy animation thingy either, just the stab.

using the item is not giving me any stat upgrades in the base or sandbox, haven't tested in game.

It also still can riposte while being hooked to stun on impact.

Apollos riposte can't be counter-spelled even if the damage parried isn't yours. He can also parry minion shots and aoe abilities like ivys ivys and victor aura.

Even if you're not the source of damage you still get stunned with counter spell active.

It ignores counter spell and still stuns you

He doesn't counter the hook is he's already been hit, but he can immediately stun bebop on arrival.
