I reset windows, performed a clean install of nvidia drivers and for the first 5 games I had no issues. However, the audio distortions (peaking, spiking, scratchy) and frame time issue resurfaced.

Game's frame time increasing severely to 40s-60s ms despite high frame rate. Audio also gets distorted, choppy with high frequency spikes and peaks. Seems to occur randomly, although anecdata wants me think it happens most often while playing Billy (~2 out of 3 games). There does not appear to...

Came to report the same. Tried using all item cast options. Items that don't have alt cast function work properly with MWheelUP/Down such as Alchemical Fire, Warp Stone, Metal Skin, etc.
