I know the title is a little confusing but I think the video shows it, if you have an item in your auto buy and have it set to auto buy when you're in range of the shop, it will pop up to imbue the item and make the noise as if it is purchased but not actually buy the item.

I pressed my 4 and died less than a second later, still had my ult when I respawned but was stuck in this animation until I hit it again.
