It is somewhat difficult to reproduce, but I can do it reliably enough on Infernus. Just go into a Sandbox lobby, level everything up, and buy Escalating Exposure only.
Sometimes the Stack Count is displayed, sometimes it is not. I know however that it is still stacking up because at 20 stacks...
