I'd need to double check, but I'm pretty sure the Bebop had improved spirit armor. I focused on him as soon as I saw him in order to apply Soul Shredder and lower his spirit resistance. Also, I was building stacks of Escalating Exposure, and several of them were already in rough shape.
To be fair, I showed up with a movement booster at the end of a team fight after they burned most of their abilities. I wouldn't have ran in like that if I wasn't confident that I could
This is a frequent problem I have where I get the visual and audible feedback of hitting a soul, but nothing happens. The only thing you need to replicate this is get the timing down from when the first cloud effect appears.
I was about to give up with testing if my gun could do a similar thing...
Oh, I thought you were saying you think it's not a fun mechanic. Yeah, it would be bad for balance if everyone had it. I like it, but it definitely shouldn't be a built-in feature. Keeping it as an item is fine by me
Saying that shooting needs to be more effective doesn't make it true. It's not like Overwatch or CS where engagements are meant to be short and intense. If you're looking for a game where you can play fast and die hard, this isn't it.
Disclaimer: These stats are definitely not tuned. It's hard to come up with balanced stats when you haven't tested the mechanics, so I didn't focus on the numbers.
