OP, maybe you should harden up a bit and realize that shit-talking is part of life. Save reporting for if they cross the line and start getting really personal, etc. Insults and cursing is just part of the fun, especially if they GG you when they lose at the end.
So I reset all keybindings and re-adjusted them while in game and it fixed the problem. However, when you go into the next game with the changed keybindings, you have to do this all over again otherwise you'll have the same problem.
For me, this just happened while I was using Mo and Krill, except 4 wouldn't work. Both Chat and All-Chat were also broken-- it wouldn't even let me rebind the keys to them. I could still chat through console F7 > say_chat
