doesn't crash if you spawn it on enemy team, or if you spawn two on enemy team and swap to one of them. only if you spawn them on your team.

if you use middle mouse you can still ping everything. the map ping seems to not respect keybindings anymore if you had it set to something other than default

this also seems to be hardcoded, my ping button is set to f1 and no key is bound to middle mouse. middle mouse can ping on the map anyways and f1 cannot.

i can't seem to reproduce this in sandbox? gave the dummy torment pulse, took damage, cat goes on 5s cd, pop debuff remover, cd stays unchanged as you'd expect because a cooldown is not a debuff

this is true of any skill that has a second activation after you use the ability (mcginnis wall, krill burrow, not sure if mirage's beetle works or not)
