I wanted to try making a bullet velocity upgrade after reading the post discussing it. It ended up being more of a compression of different items.
It's called pressure points as a reference to the concept in Kung Fu and how it's exaggerated in movies and TV.
Wraith whiffed a parry then was able to parry again without a cooldown. You can also see her parry nothing as she leaves the zipline so maybe there's a visual bug?
It doesn't really suit his kit. There's a character in Smite with the ability you're proposing called Mulan. But she's a tanky bruiser who wants to stay on top of her enemies as long as possible. Bebop only wants you in melee range long enough to stick his bombs on you.
They probably have plenty of their own hero concepts in the pipeline or more holdovers from Neon Prime. They've added multiple fan made items so they definitely read the forum. It's a taller ask to incorporate an entire fan hero concept but they might take inspiration from what they read. If...
For something like this I think it should leave you relatively defenseless against other types of damage. It wouldn't be great if a counter item had wide application. Think Reactive Barrier, not every hero can proc it and even then you'd only buy it against a few. But it's very effective in...
I agree that there should be an anti-melee item since there are so many melee-focused items.
I like the idea of an item that adds a slow to parries but I don't think melee attackers should be punished just for hitting you. It's also worth noting that Hard Head would be worth buying even without...
Mitigating a percentage of a single instance of damage is the dream. I was trying to use shields as a way to stop random dots or other negligible bits of spirit damage from procing the item, but I'm sure there's a better way.
I'm not a Dota 2 player but I believe I've heard it said that there's a "Allow Ally Help" setting that when toggled off would stop things like friendly Pudges from being able to hook you. If implemented in Deadlock it would probably do everything you just described, besides allowing you to pass...
