Holding alt and pressing tab causes windows to switch tasks. When the game window loses focus, deadlock stops tracking keyboard events. This means that alt is "held" until the player clicks back in. This causes the game to ping when you click back onto the window.
You cannot upgrade abilities while stunned; I don't believe this is intentional since it isn't a thing in pretty much any other moba. It's really frustrating.

I hate using death replay because I lose information about the game for around a full minute.
I often unbind the key, but I find that when I launch the game (or perhaps when there are updates) they key has automatically rebound itself.
