For real though, this a very bad idea for this type of game.
Maybe as a separate death match game mode, but it just doesn't fit in a game that can go for 50 minutes

Yeah I think having it scale could lead to some fun use cases with good use of the map or movement speed increasing abilities/items

I had a similar idea for one of my items threads but scrapped it at the concept phase because I thought it would be too powerful with high movement speed heroes who could spam slides, never thought at the time to just add a cooldown to it 🤦♂️

A bit underpowered for a Tier 4 item I think, if you wanted something based around powering up creep waves for pushing I think it would probably make more sense as a Tier 2 item, reduce the active cooldown, lose the cooldown reduction and give it passive aoe bonus regen to troopers or something
Yeah the heads do melt as they lose health which is a cute little way of visualising their health
Also candles make way more sense than bulbs or oil lamps because the whole game is about the occult and rituals and summoning, what do people most associate with that sort of stuff? I'd wager...
I think it's an interesting idea, but there's a caveat that I once ran into when I thought about suggesting an item that gave your last shot bonus effects, don't forget that there are heroes who can load bullets individually (like Abrams for instance), so you could technically get yourself into...
Great design concept, model might be a bit busy but it's really cool and it's clear you've put a lot of thought and effort into it. Love the fact that the exposed engine would be the headshot hitbox. Though I would consider giving the front end and headlights a slightly more facial appearance...
