I was able to get it fixed by uninstalling then going into your steam folder and delete the deadlock folder that is still there then I reinstalled it.

Kinda crazy I played this game in June with this bug and it still is happening.

So I found out it only happens with a specific friend only. I don't know why this happens but it does. Only happens at the start of the first wave of the game 1 time only. I can play the rest of the match fine. I always have to just exit the game when everyone is loading then rejoin back.

I am only crashing when I party up with friends. This happens during the picking phase sometimes or first wave of creeps at the start of the laning phase.
