I doubt that optimising isn't on the agenda. It's currently in a closed alpha(?) state where core gameplay is being worked on. I wouldn't expect performance optimisation to be happening quite yet.

Yeah just disable the shortcut in Windows. This isn't a problem exclusive to Deadlock, it's a problem with Windows. It's an accessibility shortcut. You get the same thing spamming shift in CS, Overwatch, any other game that uses the shift button as a main key

Also, given that the damage report automatically opens, it overlays the buy menu as well upon death.
