yeah the patchnote can be interpreted in a few different ways. It was previously bugged so just seemed like a bug fix to me, either way they still have to make the item description match what's happening.

33872661 I got all the way to Eternus 6 to still get matched with emmisary players. Not Ascendant, not phantom, not even oracle, emissary. It's a complete joke.

It's actually ridiculous, there's no way there's not enough players to create at least SOMEWHAT balanced matches, I refuse to believe it. I'm literally seeing archon maybe oracle players in the same game as top 200 players on the leaderboard what is going on, it's not even 6 AM or something...

well when I'm eternus IV and the avg rank of the lobby is in low ascendant that tells me there's most likely phantom players in, I can also just tell in game by the way they're playing and itemizing and I take a look at their tracklocks and see that their entire match history is phantom games...

there's several Eternus games going on in EU right now, I'm Eternus IV and after short queues I just get put in phantom/ascendant lobbies it's actually infuriating. It's like the matchmaking isnt even trying to put me in decent lobbies.
