Don't know about that but when exploring NYC you can ping thru that wall. It won't show the heroes outline but it will say "I see X". Talon took damage and died when the owl was far far away and he was pinged thru that wall

MATCH ID: 61294052 I could've recorded better but I, as Sinclair, took Storm Cloud and managed to ping Grey Talon thru the grey wall. He didn't take damage until I pinged him thru the wall and then he started taking damage.

With the great architecture this game posses I think It's fitting that there is a big buff crocodile type hero that can climb buildings. As for lore it would fit the New York thing where in the early 19's people used to throw lizards in their toilets and that NY sewers are now full of crocs...

I've seen suggestions of boots that disable gravity for a few seconds but I was thinking of a passive item that reduces your gravity - meaning your jumps are ALWAYS bigger but slower, you fall slower and you dash and fly further. The downside of it is obviously the falling slower gives enemies...
