This just seems like it would make Knockdown (a 3,000 soul item) redundant. It also seems arguably more powerful. The 10 second ability limitation also seems to run counter to the games general approach to freely using abilities and activated items together in order to synergize new strategies.
I personally think hero/heroes is a good term to use.
Heroes in the broad span of history don't have a specific bias towards good or evil deeds. Think the Iliad and how the opposing sides each had notable individuals with heroic qualities. In context with Deadlock, I feel it fairly represents...
