Is there a reason for the soul orbs in base to spawn with the protect mechanic on them? Surely you should be able to secure them immediately

It happened with the uppercut and with the hook at separate times. You can see when I press it , the button at the bottom wiggles to show its seen the button press. It happened last game with the hook. Every time i parried the hook fired off immediately after.

hi express shot shows that it gives extra damage to melee and puddle punch . roughly 300 to 450. but i don't think it makes a difference and im guessing its not meant to. side note, but its frustrating the extra range , duration and speedy cool down are all spirit. if im not building spirit it...
