Disable Distance Field options and enable vsync.
There doesn't seem to be any "railings" (for lack of a better term) in place in regards to just how much the game can demand from your GPU.
It'll run it at it's max voltage and will inevitably thermal throttle.

Now I'm not an engineer, or someone very knowledgeable in game development. So, I don't really know if this is by design or not. I'm sure Distance Fields are an incredibly complex way of calculating light, surfaces and geometry.

Not map specific, just an observation. When Mo & Krill die, Krill ragdollls but Mo's model stays rigid.
Sorry for the poor quality. Getting a good screen cap during replay is difficult when ragdolls disappear rather quickly.
