Yamato using sword visual glitch

I don't have screenshots or videos, I didn't think about taking them when playing, and in the replay it wouldn't show up, at first I thought it was some sort of power up, like from leveling, but after checking replay makes me think it was just a visual bug, but her sword was glowing like a light saber and instead of shooting she would use her sword, very similar to this bug report

Oh, I've seen this bug multiple times. Not sure what causes it.

Disappeared after death. It seems that after the bug, I did not use the 3 ability for the second time

Btw is she getting a remake? Her character picture looks different than her model (she`s wearing green and blue clothes vs. some weird armor) and looks way more "drawing-like" than the rest

It seems like the bug is related to her 3 ability, something about stopping it using reload or a stun or something creates the laser, can anyone confirm?
