The first bug seems to only be possible on these types of lane ramps and not any type of defined stairs, though I feel I have seen in game it happening on other surfaces.
The second bug has to submitted a few times but I feel I have come onto the easiest way to replicate it and the way it could be abused the easiest.
How to replicate: Look down into the ground and hold shift as you scale the ramp, it can go higher or lower but will always create a weird vertical point.

How to replicate: Start ice path, hold shift, mash all your movement keys as fast as you can. Probably possible to go faster.
