This button right here:
Doesn't appear to actually do anything. I changed my resolution earlier today so I could keeps tabs on another program while I played some Deadlock, then was unable to restore my 3440x1440 resolution by selecting the "Custom Resolution" option.
Hitting "Apply Settings" while native resolution is selected has no effect whatsoever. If I change over to the Options tab and then back to Video, Native Resolution is no longer selected.
What's so frustrating is that the game was running perfectly on my machine at my native resolution before I tampered with it, so clearly the game does support ultra wide rendering somehow.
And I have figured out a workaround for the time being:
-First run Deadlock, then set your game to Fullscreen or Borderless Window, then close the game. I prefer Borderless, myself.
-Find Deadlock in your Steam Library, right click it, go to "Manage" and Browse "Local Files"
-Navigate through the "game" folder, then "citadel," then "cfg"
-Find the file "video.txt" and open it. Locate "setting.defaultres" and "setting.defaultresheight" and change these to your native resolution.
-Save these changes, and you should be good to go. This approach even fixed the Windows taskbar showing up over the game window... or it did for me.
Hope this was helpful to anyone else having this problem. Stay groovy, folks.
