I want a Canadian character. (Assuming the game takes place in the real world.)

As a Canadian i would like to see more Canadian characters in games so i would like to pitch my own for Deadlock.

A handsome young adult hockey player who has rage issues and secretly takes out his rage on fans he lures to his home and beats them to death.
One day when his crimes gets outed to the public he hides off into the snowy woods where he stays at an abandoned cabin, but eventually police find him due to his bad habits and he is shot.
Having escaped the police but slowly dying from the shots a forest spirits finds him.
This forest spirits has a hatred for humanity due to their mistreatment of nature, and feeling the rage inside the man she chooses him as her champion of the woods giving him a second chance at life but transformed into a creature of the woods.
He is still the same handsome young man but his left arm is covered in a tree with roots that go to his face and down to his torso with leaves growing on it. His skin now the shade of hunter green, his raven hair slicked back with twigs sticking out and he has kept his hockey mask, now covered in dirt. He also wields an axe in his right hand. And on top of it all he wears a torn up brown winter jacket with white shirt covered in some bullet holes, ripped jeans and mud covered black boots.
You might think turning into such a beast would be haunting for a person, but for him, he's fine with it, and in fact he's appreciative of the sorest sprit for giving him such an opportunity.

His main weapon is his axe that he swings around with rage and his left arm has the ability to shield him, shoot out sharp shreds of wood and plant trees. And he fights with his usual charge in and attack style he picked up from his hockey days.

Just thought of other abilities his arm has.
He can grow it to reach out and grab opponents from afar.
His arm attacks also has a chance to give opponents a splinter affect, giving them splinters that slowly harm them as well as slowing them down. The more splinters on the opponent, the more their health they lose and the slower they get.

much of what you said give me melee centric fighting style, abrams charge, sylvanus and beepbop pull vibes.

i like a debuff stacking effect from an overgrown design. But for that I would like if it was 50/50 who's in charge. so he has his say but its the spirits fight so they command as well. cho'gall, ogremagi, techies style where they banter between each other. krill already has spin move and is quite limited in how good it is damage wise because movement is so strong in the game. his burrow is mostly his immunity more than anything. does something need to be strong to be in? no so he can have melee moves but understand the risk of them.

And as for the 50/50 thing, thank you for bringing that up. I thought of mentioning that but i was having a hard time articulating the idea so i just waited until i can figure out how, so thank you for letting me know how to articulate the idea.

Love the character , I hope it will be used to make a new one like this.
 
woo this is way clearer on what it wants to do. Just give some resist not immunity, like burrow stormcloud etc. but this makes everything much cleaner.

Also can't have input related like that to get loose. either like it has hp and allies can kill it or you can with melees or smth. I haven't really gave thought of auto clickers but recently i saw my 10yo cousin playing roblox and he immediatly instaled an auto clicker to steal tags or just play while afk. so what's the point if you need to do 10 space inputs, or 8within a sec ratio to break if i can have my E key do 10000000000 space inputs in .1s
I didn't understand at first what the plant grab at range, so the animation would be like stukov from hots right? now root is really thematic with plants (beacause they have ROOTS! HAHA) could it be a growing root/grass that roots, or ramping slow into roots? perhaps does like a viscous fist but slower animation spawn and the arm roots who it hits (could add a channel to slowly move them towards you) for like 1-1.5s

Since the guy is close combat each of his abilities revolves around closing the gap with his ultimate being a sort of last resort. I'll tell you the purpose of each of them.

Wood-Checking is for Levi to get closer to his opponent who are on the offensive.

Holding the Lumber is for Levi to grab and pull in unsuspecting opponents.

Treetender is for Levi to prevent his opponents from escaping.

Forest Enforcer is when Levi is being ganged up on, a last resort to try to take down opponents when low HP.
