The end game has a predatory loop with activated items. With metal skin, debuff reducer, and unstoppable. It creates a loop of buying these three items to ult. The investment from any player is around 10k for most counters, This leaves us with a situation where i can no longer react to your actions. With the item cooldowns being lower than Ults, You end up in a situation where a heroes like Seven, Haze, Mcginnis, Wraith, Lash, Dynamo Will be better off building these items to play for team fight win buttons. Most mid/late game team fights now lack major team play/set up. In the future you will see this become a style that is very one dimensional and toxic.

So i have a suggestion, Make a 12-17k souls item that creates a pool or field that purges ALL negative and positive effect on allies and enemies. This will allow a ultra late game counter item to Negate the positive effects and negative effects when you have raw "NO" in item text. This also will create a power dynamic in teams for players who are not the carry, but not on a hero that counter's a specific ult to have interaction.

Example: Removes all Buffs, Debuffs, Disarms all heroes in area, Silences all heroes in area, and gives all hero movement speed and a health regen.

This will break the Press three buttons did i win game, play loop, give all heroes access to a HARD counter to singular ability or setup and make match ups feel better.

Right now we see Haze and Seven build Metal Skin, and/or unstoppable and just wait for a fight to start and ult snipe the opponents. Instantly losing the fight because you lack the ability to interact. But in games where we see 150,000 souls you would have this as an option no matter who you are to have counter play to a ult.


The other route is to make Metal skin, Debuff reducer, Unstoppable. not have any duration which would make the items redundant. Which is no fun for them, but solves the problem.

I prefer to just add more tools to the bench and see what people cook.
